Timothy O'Brien

Timothy O'Brien is a seasoned professional in project development and youth sports coaching. Currently serving as the Head of Project Development at Cordia since March 2024, O'Brien specializes in originating structures and negotiating agreements for distributed generation assets in the district energy sector, focusing on innovative solutions for energy challenges. O'Brien has a longstanding commitment to youth sports, coaching at Beadling Soccer Club since October 2016 and leading the girls' soccer team at South Park Senior High School since May 2020, fostering athlete development and team success. Previous experience includes key roles at Pittsburgh Allegheny County Thermal, where O'Brien served as Operations Director and Project and Safety Manager, among other positions, and coaching at various high school soccer programs. O'Brien holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Wheeling University and additional education from Point Park University.
