Jay Schellenberg

Jay Schellenberg has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Jay started their career as a Network Admin at BRAT Blueprinting, where they were responsible for building, upgrading, and maintaining the computers and the network. In 2006, they moved to Netgear as a Tier 2 Support Engineer, providing technical support for Netgear products to customers via telephone and e-mail. From 2007 to 2011, Jay worked at ESET, LLC, first as a Tier 2 Support Engineer providing technical support for ESET security products to home and business customers, and then as a Business Support Manager managing a group of 25 people. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at MIR3 as a Sr. IT Administrator, where they managed, improved, monitored, and supported a distributed infrastructure. Most recently, Jay has been employed at Intuit since 2019 as an Application Operations Engineer 2 and at Cordial since 2020 as a Site Reliability Engineer.

Jay Schellenberg's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Security from Western Governors University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Jay also attended Thomas Edison State University between 2010 and 2011, studying IT. In addition, Jay has obtained a number of certifications, including Linux+ and Project+ from CompTIA in 2014, Reverse Engineering Malware from SANS Institute in 2010, CCNA Security from Cisco in 2013, CCENT from Cisco in 2013, CCNA from Cisco in 2013, and A+ from CompTIA in 2012.
