Samrat Chakraaborty

Samrat Chakraaborty has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Samrat started their career at Hindustan Times as a Systems Executive, where they successfully implemented the Editorial Content Management system and set up the systems and network environment. Samrat then worked at ICICI Bank as a Senior Officer in Retail Banking before joining Greaves Cotton Limited. At Greaves Cotton Limited, they served as Manager IT Eastern Region and SAP HR L1 Functional, gaining hands-on experience in SAP HR and conducting training sessions for end-users. Samrat then worked as an IT Management Consultant, providing freelance IT consulting services to various organizations and successfully setting up IT infrastructure for Arohan's new Head Office. Samrat also worked as an IT Consultant for multiple Apollo Clinics in Kolkata. Samrat's experience also includes working as Senior Manager IT & Operations at OHIO Heart Hospital and Medical Centre. Samrat later joined PS Group Realty as the Head of Information Technology before moving to Utkarsh India Limited as the General Manager-IT. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Information Technology at Cordlife India.

Samrat Chakraaborty has a diverse educational background in the field of management and information technology. Their education history includes completing an MBA (Full Time) in Management Information Systems and Services from All India Management Association (AIMA) from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a HNC-GNIIT in Information Technology from NIIT in 1997-1998.

Samrat also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Calcutta University, Kolkata, which they completed from 1995 to 1997.

In terms of certifications, Samrat has obtained several ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) certifications. Samrat achieved the ITIL v4 2019 Managing Professional in IT Service Management certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2020. Samrat also holds the ITIL v3 2011 EXPERT in IT Service Management certification, as well as the ITIL v3 2011 Intermediate Lifecycle certifications in various areas including MALC, CSI, ST, SD, SS, and SO, all earned between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL v3 2011 FOUNDATION certification in May 2016.

To enhance their skills in IT service management, Samrat pursued further education with AXELOS/PEOPLECERT from 2016 to 2020 and obtained the ITIL v3 2011 / ITIL v4 2019 degree in IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT.
