Bart Slaghekke

Bart Slaghekke has over 30 years of work experience in the IT industry. Bart currently holds the position of Global IT Director at Cordstrap, where they have been working since December 2019. Prior to this, they served as Director Global CompuSafe Technology at Brink's Inc from January 2014 to June 2019, where they were responsible for information technology and digitization of the Brink's CompuSafe business. Before joining Brinks, Bart was Director IT Business Solutions EMEA/Global at Brink's Inc from January 2008 to December 2013, overseeing logistics applications and leading the application team for various solutions. Bart also worked as a Principal Consultant/Manager at NCIM, where they managed software development and implementation from February 2004 to December 2007. Bart also has experience as a Software Development (Project) Manager at ONS and Amsterdam Software Consulting, and as a Software Engineer at Ingersoll Dresser Pump Ltd.

Bart Slaghekke has a diverse education history. Bart started their educational journey in 1988 at the University of Amsterdam, where they studied Economics until 1990. Following that, from 1990 to 1992, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), specializing in Computer Science. In 2004, Bart enrolled at the University of Liverpool and pursued an MBA with distinction in Business Administration, completing their studies in 2007.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Bart Slaghekke has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Bart earned the PRINCE2 2002 Practitioner certification from the Office of Government Commerce in December 2002. Furthermore, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in August 2019.
