Melissa Zammit has a long history of work experience. Melissa began their career in 1999 as a Specialist in the United States Army Reserve, where they were responsible for maintaining company supply and armor room. In 2001, they took on a Computer Technician Internship at Cisco Systems Inc. In 2003, they worked as a Veterinary Technician at Eli Lilly Research Laboratories. In 2004, they took on two roles, Veterinary Technician at the University of Illinois at Chicago and at the Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center. Finally, in 2005 they began working at CorDynamics as the Director of Operations and Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for coordinating all scheduling, including study conduct and employee schedules, arranging sponsor/client communication, ensuring employees were properly trained, maintaining all necessary documentation, client relations, training of new and current employees, and maintaining the laboratory, equipment, training files and client information list.
Melissa Zammit obtained their A.A.S in Veterinary Technology from Parkland College between 2002 and 2004. Melissa is also a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) from AALAS.
