Geoffrey Rivers has a strong background in software development, particularly in the field of embedded firmware design engineering. Geoffrey began their work experience in 2006 as a Video Design Engineering Intern at Broadcom, where they gained valuable experience in the field. In 2009, they joined Evertz as an Embedded Firmware Design Engineer. During their time there, they were responsible for leading software engineering projects, managing a team of engineers, and interacting directly with customers for requirements and issue resolution. In 2018, Rivers transitioned to CoreAVI as a Senior Software Developer, further expanding their expertise in software development.
Geoffrey Rivers obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering with a co-op option and Management Science option from the University of Waterloo. Geoffrey completed this degree from 2002 to 2007. Subsequently, Geoffrey pursued higher education at McMaster University, where they earned a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Computer Engineering from 2007 to 2009.
