John May

John May is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in private equity and the manufacturing sector. As the Managing Partner at CORE Industrial Partners since January 2017, John focuses on investing in lower middle market manufacturing and industrial technology companies. John co-founded Imerman Angels in 2006 and served as its Chairman, contributing to cancer support initiatives. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of Group Dekko, where innovations in electrical solutions were developed, and Heat Transfer Products Group, the second-largest commercial refrigeration manufacturer in North America. John also held executive positions at Aluminum Shapes LLC, Delair Group, and Kidron Inc. John May holds a BSBA in Business Administration from East Carolina University.
