Shaun Geerts

Shaun Geerts is an experienced engineering professional specializing in explosive technology, currently serving as Engineering Manager for Energetic Development and Testing Solutions at Core Laboratories since January 2012. Previously, Shaun held roles as Testing Solutions Manager and Design Engineer, focusing on perforating solutions within Owen Oil Tools' Energetic Technology Group. Prior to Core Laboratories, Shaun worked as a Student Engineer at EMRTC, where engagement involved energetic material testing across various systems and types of explosives. Shaun holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Explosives Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
