Yosef Jalil

Yosef Jalil is currently the Area Director for CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) in California, overseeing a dynamic portfolio of programs aimed at emergency management, climate resilience, and public health. With extensive experience in technical programming across Israel, Ethiopia, the Philippines, and the United States, they have successfully led multi-sectoral initiatives in challenging environments. Previously, Yosef served as the Program Director at Emergency Network Los Angeles, where they coordinated emergency response activities and grew the organization's network significantly. Holding a Master of Arts in Political Science and Political Communication from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Yosef combines strong academic credentials with a passion for community-based development.
