Lauren Smetana

Lauren Smetana is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets and commercial real estate. Currently serving as Managing Director of Capital Markets at Core Spaces since January 2022, Lauren previously held the position of Director in the same field. At Fifth Third Bank from June 2009 to January 2022, Lauren excelled as a Relationship Manager, overseeing a commercial real estate portfolio, negotiating credit proposals, and analyzing financial risks for diverse clients. Lauren also completed a Commercial Associate Program at Fifth Third Bank, focusing on underwriting and financial analysis. Lauren initiated a career in finance as an intern at Mann Financial Group, LLC, contributing to the implementation of employee benefits and preparing client portfolio materials. Lauren holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and studied Business Administration at UNSW Business School.
