Chris Madson

Chris Madson, CPCU, AIAF has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They currently serve as the Vice President of Strategic Claims Operations at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Hallmark Financial Services Inc. from October 2021 to November 2022. They also served as the Claims Director - Operations at Hallmark from March 2021 to October 2021.

Before entering the insurance industry, Madson worked at First American as a Claims Manager, Strategy and Operations from July 2019 to February 2021. They also gained valuable experience at Farmers Insurance as a Claims Supervisor from July 2010 to July 2019.

Madson's earlier work experience includes roles in electromechanical assembly and management training/sales. They worked at MORGAN AMPLIFICATION as an Electromechanical Assembly specialist from June 2012 to October 2014. They also worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Surface Pros Inc. in management training and freelance sales/sales management roles, respectively.

In addition to their professional roles, Madson pursued their passion for music as an Independent Music Professional/Producer from 2005 to 2009. They also gained experience in planning through an internship at DGWB in 2005.

Their career began at Microtek Electronics in March 1999, where they worked in electromechanical assembly until July 2004.

Chris Madson, CPCU, AIAF holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Biola University, which was obtained from 2004 to 2006. In 2016 and 2017, Chris received a certification in Voice Acting from Del Mar Media Arts. Additionally, Chris attended the Musicians Institute from 2002 to 2003, studying the guitar. Chris also holds various certifications, including CPCU from The Institutes in 2018, Zurich Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Farmers Insurance in 2013, and Collision Damage Estimator from ASE in July 2012. Chris obtained additional certifications such as Platinum from I-CAR in February 2019, and is pursuing an Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) from The Institutes Knowledge Group, expected to be obtained in 2023. Finally, Chris is a Sarbanes-Oxley Trained Professional (SOTP), certified by the Management & Strategy Institute in 2022.
