Mark L. Mitchell

Mark L. Mitchell, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as a Human Resources Business Partner at Corebridge Financial, previously AIG Life & Retirement, since September 2022. With extensive experience in human resources, Mark held multiple positions at AIG from January 2006 to September 2022, including HR Manager for Life US and the Southeast Region, where responsibilities included supporting AIG's Life Operations and collaborating across various HR functions. Mark also served as Director of Human Resources at American General Life and Accident Insurance Company, overseeing talent acquisition and employee relations for a workforce exceeding 4,000 employees. Earlier in career development, Mark worked at American General Corporation in roles such as Director of Employment & Licensing, Marketing Manager, and Internal Consultant, and began as a Technology Specialist at Brankers Trust Company. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Georgia with concentrations in Insurance/Risk Management and Human Resource Development, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
