Sandeep Vakkada Puthanveed

Sandeep Vakkada Puthanveed is an experienced professional in the field of database engineering and data management. Sandeep started their career at Tech Mahindra in 2005 as a Senior Database Engineer and Data Analyst, where they focused on requirement analysis, solution consulting, and database architecture. Sandeep then joined Ernst & Young in 2012 as a Senior Consultant, specializing in database performance tuning and data analytics. During their time there, they supervised a team of data analytics programmers and designed high availability and disaster recovery solutions for OLTP and data warehouse environments. In 2015, Sandeep joined Wirecard as a Senior Consultant Database Reliability Engineering and Data Management. Sandeep played a key role in defining the enterprise data strategy, data governance policies, and data security standards for database environments. Most recently, in 2021, Sandeep joined CoreCard Software, Inc. as a Principal Architect in Database Engineering and Data Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for creating architectural presentations, defining technology vision strategies, and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery for customer data.

Sandeep Vakkada Puthanveed completed their Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degree, Sandeep has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. Sandeep became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in SQL SERVER 2012 in December 2014. In the same month, they also earned the certification of Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in SQL SERVER 2012 & 2014 Data Platform. Sandeep further enhanced their skills by becoming a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008 Database Development in February 2011 and a Microsoft Certified Professional in November 2014. Sandeep achieved the status of Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Data Management and Analytics Charter Member in September 2016. Most recently, Sandeep obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate in October 2020 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect Expert in August 2020.
