Brian Costello

Brian Costello is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the correctional services sector and military leadership. Since October 2015, Brian has served as the Managing Director at CoreCivic. Additionally, Brian has held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Avalon Correctional Services since July 2009, overseeing approximately 500 employees and providing community correctional and rehabilitative services across 11 facilities in three states. Prior to these roles, Brian worked as a Principal Accounts Manager at Rockwell Collins for a brief period in 2009 and served in the US Navy from May 1983 to February 2009, achieving the rank of Captain (retired). Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy, where studies were completed from 1979 to 1983.
