Rick Taylor

Rick Taylor serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Tarleton State University in the Department of Public Administration since August 2024. Currently, Taylor also works as a Consultant focusing on Federal Partnership Relations for CoreCivic, beginning in July 2022. Previously, Taylor held the position of Director of Finance at Snipitz from April 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included financial planning and strategic recommendations. Taylor’s extensive experience with the United States Marshals Service spanned from 1995 to January 2021, culminating in the roles of United States Marshal and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing operational and administrative functions. Other notable positions held at the Marshals Service include Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal, Senior Advisor on law enforcement, and Director of Training and Compliance. Prior military service included working as an Aircrew Life Support Specialist and Instructor in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1995. Taylor earned a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from National Louis University.
