Stela Kostova

Stela Kostova, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stela is currently working at Alludo as the Senior Director of Product Design & User Assistance for a variety of software products. Prior to this, they held various roles at Corel Corporation, including Director of Product Design & User Assistance for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Director of Product Development for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Senior Manager in Product Development, and Documentation Manager for Technical, Marketing, and Localized Documentation. Before joining Corel Corporation, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Ottawa University and a Research Assistant at Carleton University. Stela also has experience as a Poetry and Fiction Translator, an English Language and Literature Teacher at Vasil Aprilov Language School, and a Technical Documentation Writer for various companies. Stela Kostova has a breadth of expertise and a strong background in product design, user assistance, and technical documentation.

Stela Kostova, Ph.D., received their B.A. in English Language and Literature from Veliko Turnovo University in 1992. Stela then went on to earn their M.A. in English from Carleton University in 1995. Stela further pursued their studies and obtained a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Ottawa in 2001. Additionally, they spent a year at Mount Holyoke College as a Foreign Fellow, studying English Literature and Psychology in 1993-1994.
