Jay Somers, MHA, MBA has extensive experience in healthcare administration and leadership roles. Jay is currently the Chief Operating Officer at CoreLife Healthcare, where they previously served as the Senior Vice President of Administration and Vice President of Operations. Prior to this, Jay worked as a Healthcare Administration Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps and as a Program Director at Healogics, Inc. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Operations at DaVita Kidney Care. Jay also served as a Medical-Strategic Subject Matter Expert in the United States Army Reserve, where they developed partnerships and addressed workforce skill gaps. Jay gained further experience as a Senior Medical Advisor at the United States Department of Defense, where they implemented strategic clinical initiatives and led operations. Jay has an educational background in healthcare administration from George Mason University.

Smith School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2014, Jay Somers obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from George Mason University College of Public Health.
