Ken Mermoud

Ken Mermoud has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ken is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at Corelight, Inc since December 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Product Management at PatternEx from October 2018 to November 2020, where they were responsible for driving product strategy and direction for the PatternEx threat detection platform. Before that, they worked at Securonix from December 2014 to September 2018 as the Vice President of Product Management, overseeing all inbound and outbound product management tasks. Ken played a crucial role in helping Securonix become a visionary SIEM player in the SIEM Magic Quadrant. Ken also worked at HP Enterprise Security as a Senior Manager of Product Management from January 2012 to December 2014, where they managed different aspects of product line full life cycle management. Ken started their career at ArcSight, Inc., where they served in various roles from 2005 to 2012, including Development Manager, Senior Security Engineer, and Network Security Engineer. During their time at ArcSight, they focused on content development, compliance standards research, and network security engineering. Ken Mermoud has a strong background in product management and security, coupled with a demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and implement innovative solutions.

Ken Mermoud holds a Master of Science degree in Specialization in network security from EURECOM, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Ken also holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Systems from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), which they obtained from 1999 to 2005. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Practical Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing in the year 2013.
