Lucas Hooten

Lucas Hooten currently serves as a Security Prototype Engineer at Corelight since July 2025 and has been the President and Cyber & IT Consultant at ValleyIO since February 2018, providing both paid and pro bono services to local businesses in technology and security. Previously, Lucas worked at BlueVoyant as a Threat Hunting Platform Engineer, where significant achievements included designing a patented security platform generating annual savings of over $20 million and developing advanced threat-detection systems for major enterprise clients. Additional roles include Cybersecurity Analyst at Advisor Group, Security Systems Engineer at DATASHIELD, and Executive Vice President at Legal Technology Solutions, among others. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Grand Canyon University, completed in 2021.
