Gayle Tropeano

Gayle Tropeano has a diverse work experience in engineering and CAD administration roles. Gayle is currently working as an Engineering Service Lead at CoreMap since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at T2 Biosystems from May 2021 to June 2022 as a Sr. CAD Administrator.

From July 2017 to May 2021, Gayle held the position of Sr. Mechanical Designer at ProTom International. Their responsibilities included SolidWorks CAD and PDM Administration, creating drawing/part/assembly templates and workflows, modeling parts and assemblies, and managing ECO processes.

Before ProTom International, Gayle worked at T2 Biosystems as an Engineering Designer/Drafter from May 2015 to July 2017. Gayle drafted and designed medical device models, created engineering support documentation, and supported SolidWorks users.

From May 2012 to May 2015, Gayle was a Sr. Mechanical CAD Design/Drafter at Janis Research Company, LLC. Their role involved designing and modifying Cryogenic products using SolidWorks and implementing PDM Workgroup for design file control.

Additionally, Gayle has experience working as a SolidWorks Adjunct Professor at North Shore Community College from January 2012 to December 2013. Gayle instructed students in 3D parametric mechanical design software and developed a curriculum-based project.

From November 2009 to May 2012, Gayle served as the Director of Engineering Services at Velico Medical. Their responsibilities included coordinating engineering services, documentation control, and information technology services.

Gayle has also held positions as the President of the Boston Area North SolidWorks User Group in 2011 and CAD Administrator at MKS Instruments from May 2007 to November 2009.

Their earlier work experience includes the role of Senior Engineering Designer at ZymeQuest from an unspecified start date to 2007.

Gayle Tropeano has an education history that includes an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Northeastern University, which they obtained in 2010. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1985, they attended Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School where they studied Drafting.
