Yiftah Kowal

Yiftah Kowal has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and industries.

Yiftah began their professional career in 2006 as a First Lieutenant in the Israel Defense Forces, where they served until 2010.

In 2012, they joined Marvell Semiconductor as a Validation Engineer and worked there until 2016.

During their time at Marvell Semiconductor, they gained experience in validation testing for semiconductor products.

In 2016, Yiftah worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University.

In the same year, they also joined SolarEdge Technologies as a System and Patent Engineer.

Yiftah'srole involved research and early-stage development of SolarEdge products, as well as enhancing the company's patent portfolio.

Since 2017, Yiftah has been employed at Corephotonics Ltd, where they have held various roles.

Yiftah started as a Control Engineer and later progressed to Senior Control Engineer.

In this position, they were responsible for leading control and electronics activities, developing hardware and software for high-precision motion control, and designing camera modules.

Currently, Yiftah serves as the Camera Group Manager at Corephotonics Ltd, overseeing the optics, mechanics, control, and electronics teams.

Yiftah'smain focus is developing future smartphone camera modules, which includes the development of optics, actuators, and motion control systems.

Yiftah Kowal began their education at Blich High School from 2002 to 2006, where they focused on studying Robotics and Physics. After completing high school, Kowal attended Tel Aviv University from 2010 to 2014, earning their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Yiftah then continued their education at Tel Aviv University as a Master of Science (MSc) student from 2014 to 2016, specializing in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
