Sadiat Jimo (Iwilade)

Sadiat Jimo (Iwilade) has extensive work experience in the field of network and security engineering.

Sadiat began their career as a Junior Network Engineer at ICT Solutions Limited in 2008, where they were responsible for LAN installations, configuring networking equipment, and installing antivirus software.

From 2011 to 2012, Sadiat worked as an RF Optimization Engineer at Spectrum Telecom Services Ltd. Their main tasks included conducting drive tests and analyzing log files for voice services, as well as recommending solutions for optimization.

In 2012, they joined Cellcite Telecoms Solution Limited as a 3G RF Optimization Engineer. Here, they trained drive test engineers and provided remote technical support for RF engineers. Sadiat also led optimization projects, including benchmarking 3G mobile network operators in Nigeria.

Sadiat then worked as a Junior Network Engineer at IT Educator from 2014 to 2015. Their responsibilities included configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers and providing Microsoft Server administration services.

Sadiat volunteered at Northmoor Community Centre in 2015, serving as an IT Support Officer. Their duties included monitoring and maintaining computer systems, providing technical support, and assisting community members with basic computer skills.

From 2016 to 2017, Sadiat worked as a NOC Engineer at Console Network Solutions, where they were responsible for managing the NOC function for a global WAN network. Sadiat ensured adherence to SLAs and KPIs and handled support tickets.

At Exa Networks, Sadiat served as a Network Engineer from 2017 to 2019. Their role involved maintaining and monitoring core network infrastructures and acting as a point of escalation for network-related issues.

Currently, Sadiat is employed at Corero Network Security, where they started as a Security Services Engineer in 2019 and was later promoted to Senior Security Services Engineer. Their responsibilities include implementing and managing enterprise networks, configuring SIEM solutions, monitoring and mitigating DDoS attacks, and developing methods to enhance monitoring capabilities.

Sadiat Jimo (Iwilade) has a diverse education history. In 2022, they completed a Technical Team Leadership (Online) course from the University of Oxford's Department for Continuing Education. Before that, Sadiat obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology from the University of Derby. Their undergraduate degree is a BSc. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University.
