Michael Foster has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and IT support. Michael started their career in 2002 as a Non-Commissioned Officer at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, where they worked on developing new technology integration programs. In 2004, they joined the Marine Corps as a Training Non-Commissioned Officer, specializing in Basic Digital Network Analysis and network maintenance.

After leaving the military, Foster worked as a Systems Technician at Sayers, where they configured and deployed IT assets for clients. Michael also participated in a large-scale deployment operation for Albany Medical Center. In 2007, they joined Thomson Reuters as a Network Support member, responsible for end-to-end connectivity across global production networks.

Foster then worked as a Network Engineer at Mirror Image Internet and Beacon Health Strategies, where they maintained network infrastructure and documented processes and procedures related to operations. At Thrive Networks, they served as a Network Engineer Tier 2, addressing customer issues and working on a major network upgrade for The Santa Fe Public School System.

In 2014, Foster attended Launch Academy, a web development training course focused on Ruby on Rails applications. Following that, they worked for Focus Technology Solutions as a Network Engineer, before joining Coretelligent as a Senior Client Support Engineer in 2018. In this role, they troubleshoot and resolves various issues, provides consulting services, and meets clients' needs both remotely and on-site.

Michael Foster attended the Community College of Rhode Island from 2006 to 2007, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they attended the New England Institute of Technology, also focusing on Computer Information Systems. In addition to their educational background, Michael has obtained certifications in Third Degree Black Belt from Kukikwon & The Jae Hun Kim Taekwon-Do Institute in June 2018, and ITIL Version 2 from ITIL in March 2007.
