John R. Young

John R. Young, PA-C, serves as the Service Lead of Cardiovascular Surgery at Beaumont Health since September 2013. Additionally, John has been an Advisory Board Member at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business since August 2018 and previously held the position of Past President at the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants from 2013 to 2017. John’s earlier experience includes roles as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MED-SHARE Diagnostics from January 2009 to December 2011 and as the Board of Directors Chairman for the Strong Kids Campaign at YMCA South Oakland in 2010. Furthermore, John contributed to SEMATA's Board of Directors from March 2009 to May 2011, supporting nuclear medicine education in Southeastern Michigan. John's educational background includes a Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant from Western Michigan University, a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine from William Beaumont Hospital School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine from Oakland University.
