Javier Milagro

Javier Milagro began their work experience in 2016 as a Predoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Zaragoza. Javier completed their Ph.D. thesis on "Noninvasive autonomic nervous system assessment in respiratory disorders and sport sciences applications" during this time. From 2018 to 2019, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the university. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of a Postdoctoral Researcher in Biosignals Analysis until July, when they joined Corify as an RA/QA Manager & Backend Coordinator. Javier recently became the Chief Operating Officer at Corify in October 2021.

Javier Milagro has a strong background in engineering and has pursued higher education in various institutions. Javier began their educational journey in 2010 at Universidad de Zaragoza, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2014.

Following their undergraduate studies, Milagro pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Telecommunications Engineering at the same university from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they also participated in an intensive ERASMUS exchange program at Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2014.

In 2015, Milagro took part in the ERASMUS exchange program again, this time at Tampere University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Telecommunication Engineering until 2016.

Continuing their academic journey, Milagro embarked on a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Universidad de Zaragoza from 2016 to 2019. Javier gained valuable research experience through research stays at KU Leuven in 2017 and Tampere University of Technology in 2016.

With a commitment to ongoing professional development, Milagro obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2017, they completed the "Machine Learning" certification from Coursera. In 2020, they acquired two more certifications, namely "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," both from Coursera as well.

Most recently, in 2022 to 2023, Milagro attended EAE Business School for an Executive MBA degree.
