Kapal Dev

Kapal Dev, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher at Munster Technological University, actively involved in several academic and research roles since January 2021. Current positions include Principal Investigator for multiple European Commission initiatives, Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE CTSoc CCN Technical Committee Newsletter, and various roles with the IEEE Communications Society and the COST Association. Additionally, Kapal Dev serves as a Funded Investigator with Science Foundation Ireland and as an Academic Collaborator with the ADAPT Centre. Recognized as the Outstanding Young Researcher for the EMEA Region in 2022, Kapal Dev also received the Irish Research Council Research Ally Prize in the same year. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, awarded in 2018.
