Peter Hladun

Peter Hladun has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Peter started their career as a Quality Engineer at GD California, Inc. from September 2004 to August 2006, where they ensured product quality and compliance. Peter then worked at Artisan Confections as a Senior Industrial Engineer from August 2006 to June 2008, managing budgets and implementing improvement projects. Peter then joined Artisan Confections, a Hershey Company, as a Senior Supply & Demand Planner, supporting business planning and facilitating sales and operations meetings from June 2008 to March 2009.

In 2009, Peter joined E&J Gallo Winery as a Senior Packaging Development Engineer, leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles to drive cost savings and productivity improvements. Peter later became a Black Belt - Lean Six Sigma, leading Kaizen events and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Peter's academic pursuit is evident in their role as an Engineering Professor at California State University, East Bay, where they taught systems engineering and analysis, and engineering economics in 2011.

Building on their expertise, Peter joined Cork Supply in 2011 and held various executive positions. Peter served as the Director of Technical Services from October 2011 to December 2014, Vice President of Operations from December 2014 to November 2017, and Vice President and General Manager from November 2017 to April 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Cork Supply, demonstrating their leadership and strategic capabilities in the organization.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university from 2002 to 2005. In 2002, they obtained a Certificate in AutoCAD 2004 from San Francisco State University.
