Before their time at eHarmony, Johnny was the VP of Engineering at Siderean Software from September 2001 to December 2008. Johnny was also previously a Senior Software Engineer at TriVida Corporation from May 1997 to August 2001, where they designed and built TriVida's application server architecture for their core product SplashLink, a cross-sell/up-sell product recommendations engine offered as a SaaS to e-tailers. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Quarterdeck Corporation from April 1993 to March 1997.

Johnny Zhang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University. Johnny also attended CUS for part of their education.
