Valeria Wynn is a Health SME & Business Analyst at Cormac. Valeria has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on business analysis and data analysis.

Before joining Cormac, Valeria worked as a Principal Healthcare Business Analyst at OptumInsight, where they supported three separate projects for OPM accessing health coverage through the state insurance exchanges. In this role, they performed analysis of each health plan claims data, providing a critical perspective of cost, quality, access and efficiency to strengthen the negotiation position of the major purchaser of health care services.

Valeria has also authored the data submission guidelines used to inform the responsible parties assigned to the project to submit data for mapping criteria and data requirements. Additionally, they have authored the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) document used for training and overall management of data file analysis reports.

In their current role at Cormac, Valeria is responsible for providing expert advice on all aspects of health policy and healthcare delivery. Valeria also works with clients to develop strategies for improving health outcomes and reducing costs.

Valeria Wynn holds a bachelor's degree in art education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a master's degree in acquistion and contract management from Strayer University-Maryland. Valeria also holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master and Certified ScrumMaster, as well as a certification in business analyst from George Washington University School of Public Management.
