Erik Pederson P.Eng. has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Erik started as a Technical Specialist in Drilling Services at BJ Services in 2004 and then moved on to become a Senior Technical Specialist in Coiled Tubing and later in Drilling Services. Erik then worked at Baker Hughes as an Engineering Manager in Completions and Intervention from 2012 to 2014.
In 2014, Pederson joined Raymond James Ltd. as an Associate in Investment Banking, and later became Vice President in Investment Banking from 2017 to 2018. Erik then joined Canaccord Genuity- Global Capital Markets as Vice President in Investment Banking from 2018 to 2020.
Currently, Pederson serves as the Director of Investment Banking and Managing Director at Cormark Securities, starting in 2020. Erik also holds the position of Managing Director in Investment Banking since January 2021 at the same company.
Overall, Pederson's experience has primarily been in investment banking, with progressively senior roles in different companies throughout their career.
Erik Pederson P.Eng. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2004. Erik then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance from the University of Calgary, which they completed in 2014. In 2017, Erik attended the Canadian Securities Institute, where they completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course.
