Raghu Raman began their career as an intern at NASA Glenn Research Center where they worked on developing hardware interfaces and protocols for semiconductor microgravity research experiments. Raghu then worked at Intel Corporation starting as a Design Engineer responsible for I/O design for a 130nm chipset. Raghu later moved on to be an Engineering Manager overseeing the convergence of CBD design blocks for a Pentium 4 product derivative. At Intel Corporation India Private Limited, they built and ramped a new design team to enable the successful delivery of a complex SOC product while in parallel ramping and training a new team. At their most recent role at Intel Corporation, they have held multiple Senior Engineering Manager roles in which they have led and managed teams across multiple segments spanning Server, Client, Networking, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Graphics, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and has developed cutting edge intellectual property (IP) to enable products. Raghu is currently the Director of Engineering at Cornelis Networks.
Raghu Raman attended Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram from 1984 to 1987. From 1987 to 1991, they obtained a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, but the field of study is unknown. Raghu Raman later pursued a dual degree at the University of Florida, graduating with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Material Science in 1997, with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering.
