Peter Kaplinsky

Peter Kaplinsky is a Research Assistant at Cornell University, working under Dr. Iwijn De Vlaminck since September 2019. Additionally, Peter serves as a Writer for the Cornell Daily Sun and has experience as a Summer Research Student at the New York Genome Center, where a novel pipeline for analyzing RNA editing levels in single-cell RNA-sequencing data was developed using Python and R. Previous roles include Developer for Cornell University Sustainable Design and Radiology Research Intern at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, completed in December 2021, and graduated from Staten Island Technical High School in 2018.
