Mahitha Penmetsa

Mahitha Penmetsa currently serves as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple, focusing on ad platforms, and is also an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Cornell University, where analysis of LLM models for American Express takes place. Mahitha has gained experience as a Data Scientist with Cornell Data Science, a Software Engineering Fellow at Uber, and a Full Stack Software Engineering Intern at Fidelity Investments. Prior involvement includes a role as a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medicine, managing patient files and validating survey metrics. Mahitha has contributed as an Instructor Assistant with Kode With Klossy, a Data and Tech Fellow at Bluebonnet Data, and a Data and Web Development Intern at Heartland Core Wellness. Mahitha is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University, having graduated from Downingtown High School East Campus.
