Alexis McMurray is an accomplished fashion design professional with a current position as a Level 3 Designer at Cornell Fashion Collective since September 2022. In addition to this role, Alexis gained experience as a Fashion Design Intern at Heart Of Sun and contributed to the Fashion Marketing Board at Avalon Apparel, where responsibilities included garment design and trend analysis. As a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, Alexis assisted students in lab experiments focused on fiber types and maintained safety protocols. Previous experience also includes serving as an Assistant Fashion Designer at Alli H Park. Alexis is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design at Cornell University, having previously earned a High School Diploma from South Broward High School and studying at Broward College.

The Cornell Fashion Collective is a student-run organization that provides members of the Cornell community with an outlet to express creativity in fashion and fashion management. Each spring, our organization presents a professional runway show featuring the talent of students who both design apparel and manage the operations of the show. Our organization gives students, both undergraduate and graduate, the opportunity to practice design, demonstrate their talents, and learn how to produce a large-scale fashion event.
