Ece Tek, M.D., currently serves as the Chief of Behavioral Health and Chief Medical Officer for Mental Health and Addiction Services at Cornell Scott - Hill Health Center since October 2013. In addition, Ece Tek holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Psychiatry Department at Yale School of Medicine since 2007. Previous experience includes serving as an inpatient attending and staff psychiatrist at the Institute of Living (Hartford Hospital) from 2005 to 2007. Ece Tek's educational background includes medical degrees from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the University of Maryland, along with executive education from Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth and foundational studies at Hacettepe University and Bornova Anadolu Lisesi.

Cornell Scott - Hill Health Center

In 1968, members of the New Haven community, including Mr. Cornell Scott, partnered with the Yale School of Medicine to establish Connecticut’s first Federally Qualified Community Health Center—Hill Health Center. In the decades since welcoming our first patient, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center, as we are now known, has been providing comprehensive, compassionate care to communities throughout Greater New Haven. Along the way, we have opened new care sites and expanded our services in order to meet the needs of the people we serve. Today, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is proud to stand as a national leader in community healthcare, offering state-of-the-art, integrated care at twenty care sites throughout New Haven County. We serve over 36,000 patients each year and work hard every day to continue the important work that Mr. Scott started, keeping close at mind his advocacy for community healthcare and his passion to meet the healthcare needs of the underserved.
