Ana Sofia Alonso Munera is a dedicated mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in both research and practical applications in renewable energy and spacecraft systems. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering at Cornell University, Ana Sofia contributes to the Cornell SmallSat Mission Design School Summer Program, focusing on trajectory design and communications for a "Mini Moon Mission." As a Graduate Student Research Assistant, research involves evaluating control systems for spacecraft models under Professor Timothy Sands. Previous roles include building wave energy converters at the SEA Lab and leading a team in the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition.
