Daniel T. Conway has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel T. currently holds the position of External Affairs and Public Engagement Manager at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically in the Office of Stakeholder Engagement and Analysis (OSEA). In this role, they manage cross-team advocacy strategies for DHS Science and Technology research, development, and innovation investments, while also identifying and executing opportunities for narrative development targeting key stakeholders. Daniel organizes and oversees strategic advocacy and outreach campaigns for Congress, interagency organizations, industry, and state and local officials, including the nationwide first responder community.

Prior to their current role, Daniel worked as a Principal Consultant at Corner Alliance, where they led outreach and engagement planning for the DHS Science and Technology Directorate - Communications Division. Daniel T. also developed communication strategies for the Under Secretary to foster public-private partnerships and collaborations, and coordinated storytelling efforts on technology capabilities and research impacts with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and national laboratories.

Before joining Corner Alliance, Daniel served as a Senior Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Manager at SRA International. In this role, they facilitated sessions with various government agencies and academia to create and implement guidance tools for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Daniel T. conducted out-year planning based on research data, technology trends, Congressional Directives, and Executive Orders. Daniel also focused on cultivating relationships with senior government officials and staff, connecting stakeholders with DHS leadership.

Earlier in their career, Daniel held the position of Director of Conference and Media Center Operations at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In this role, they administered the planning and execution of forums and press briefings involving academia, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), associations, and industry. Daniel T. directed over 500 events with program scholars and U.S. and international policymakers.
