Drew Ethridge has worked in the engineering industry since 1992. Drew began their career at GE (Formerly Garico, Inc) as a Team Controls/Team, where they were initially employed to provide quality control on a 50 machine project. Drew then moved to Flexible Technologies and Stewart Systems as a Project Engineer, before joining Automation Resources Incorporated in 1997. At Automation Resources Incorporated, they worked as a Project Engineer, designing and programming automated lines to build 35 shells per minute and multiple machines to perform the automated assembly of automotive airbags. In 1999, they joined BAE Airport Equipment as a Project Engineer/Engineering Manager, where they were tasked with migrating engineering tools from antiquated platforms to state of the art off the shelf tools. In 2002, they moved to Brock Solutions, Inc as a Project Engineer/Manager, where they opened a remote office in the DFW area and was responsible for all duties from procuring office space to implementing projects. In 2011, they joined Heat and Control as a Senior Control Engineer, before moving to CYMI Industrial in 2014 as a Senior Controls Engineer. Since 2015, they have been working as a Controls Engineering Manager at Cornerstone Automation Systems, LLC (CASI).
Drew Ethridge attended Washington University in St. Louis from 1982-1986, where they obtained a BSEE in Electrical Engineering. Drew then attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1991-1994, studying Micro Electronics. In August 2019, they obtained the AutoCAD 2020 Essential Training certification from LinkedIn.
