Evan Knust has five years of work experience in engineering. Evan began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at the Integrated Micro & Nano-fluidic Systems Lab at UTA. In 2012, they moved to the Robotics, Biomechanics, and Dynamic Systems Laboratory at UTA as a Research Assistant. In 2014, they became an Engineering Intern at Anida Technologies, L.P., and also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Contractor at Whole Hog Technologies. In 2015, they joined Cornerstone Automation Systems, LLC (CASI) as a Mechanical Engineer.

Evan Knust obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. Evan then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. In 2013, they earned an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Evan then obtained a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) certification from SolidWorks in October 2014.
