Pamela Farris

Elementary Principal at Cornerstone Education Group

Pamela Farris has a strong background in education, with experience in various leadership roles. Pamela worked at ACCEL Schools as a Regional Vice President starting in November 2018. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Cornerstone Charter Schools, where they served as an Elementary Principal and later as the Director of Innovative Curriculum. Pamela also worked as the Chief Academic Officer at Cornerstone Educational Group from July 2016 to November 2018. Earlier in their career, they were an Elementary Principal at Pontiac School District from August 2002 to April 2012, and a High School Principal at Edison Schools from January 2001 to June 2002.

Pamela Farris has a Master's degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction, which they obtained from the University of Detroit Mercy between 1995 and 1997. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in History at the same university from 1991 to 1995. Later, in 2003 to 2005, they completed a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Detroit Mercy as well. In 2009 to 2010, Pamela Farris obtained an Administration Endorsement in Superintendency and Educational System Administration from the Michigan Association of School Administrators.
