Charlie Lee is a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency industry, currently serving as the Director and Managing Director of the Litecoin Foundation since 2016 and as a Board Member for BTCS Inc. and Valkyrie since 2021. As the creator of Litecoin, one of the most popular alternative currencies to Bitcoin, Charlie Lee has played a significant role in the development of digital currencies. Previously, Charlie Lee held leadership positions at Coinbase as Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager, and at Google as a Software Engineer, contributing to projects such as YouTube Mobile, Chrome OS, and Play Games. Charlie Lee's educational background includes a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
