Ethan Witt

Principal at Cornerstone Government Affairs

Ethan Witt comes to Cornerstone after serving as an assistant vice president of government and community relations at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where he held the position since October 2020.

At EKU, Ethan led all state advocacy initiatives with the legislative and executive branches and managed advocacy and engagement with Kentucky’s federal delegation. Ethan also served as a member of the president’s cabinet and senior leadership team. Prior to that, he served as their director of government and community relations.

Before his time at the University, Ethan worked as the Bluegrass Region field representative for the office of U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), as well as a field representative and special projects coordinator for the office of U.S. Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY). He also served as the communications and grassroots coordinator for the Andy Barr for Congress campaign from 2013-2016.

As an active member of the Kentucky community, Ethan serves on the boards of the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital and Bluegrass Tomorrow. He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Eastern Kentucky University and his Master of Science in communication from Purdue University.
