Laura Newton

Laura Newton has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Laura started their career as a National Training Manager at Bluebird Care in 2011, where they developed and implemented a successful career pathway across 85 branches. Laura then became an Operations Manager at Bluebird Care from 2017 to 2018. After that, they worked as a Regional Manager at Four Seasons Health Care, overseeing 8 homes on the south coast and later taking on a senior regional management role in Bristol with an additional 10 homes. From 2019 to 2022, Laura served as the Head Of Operations at Prestige Nursing + Care. Currently, they are the Head of Learning & Recruitment at Cornerstone Healthcare Group Ltd.

Laura Newton earned a certificate in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from City & Guilds in 2017. Laura also obtained a Level 5 certification in Leadership & Management from City and Guilds and studied Leadership at the NHS Staff College London. In addition to their formal education, Laura has certifications in Award in Education and Teaching from Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC), Managing Medication Trainer from OCN Credit4Learning, and Moving & Handling of People Instructors Assessors from Osteopathic Solutions, all obtained in previous years.
