John Hondred

John Hondred is a seasoned Sr. Research Engineer at Cornerstone Research Group, Inc., leading projects with over $8 million in government contracts and demonstrating a high success rate in SBIR/STTR proposals. With expertise in electrochemical systems, John has contributed to the design and fabrication of advanced batteries and various energy generation technologies. Prior experience includes a PhD research role at Iowa State University, where John invented manufacturing techniques for thin film electronics and conducted extensive materials research. Early career roles included an internship at the US Naval Research Laboratory and a manufacturing engineering internship at Link Manufacturing Ltd. John holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Dordt College.
