Mechanical Engineer at Cornerstone Robotics

Yasser Khan Eronico W. has worked in the field of Mechanical Engineering since 2017. Yasser Khan Eronico began their career as an Engineering Intern at Morgan Advanced Materials, where they assisted the Engineering Faculty Team on sulfur dioxide emission reduction for factory furnace. Yasser Khan Eronico conducted research on existing desulphurization solutions and analyzed factory feasibility, and developed a cost-effective scrubber. In 2018, they joined NISI (HK) Limited as a Mechanical Engineer, where they acted as a key member in a project of Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgical (NOTES) robotic system, which was granted over HK$58m government funding. Yasser Khan Eronico developed a highly articulated surgical grasper and suction device for the NOTES system and performed world-first trans-rectal gynecological procedures in live pigs. Currently, Yasser is a Mechanical Engineer at Cornerstone Robotics Limited, where they began working in 2021.

Yasser Khan Eronico W. has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which they earned between 2014 and 2018. Yasser Khan Eronico also holds a Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination from Tang Shiu Kin Victoria Government Secondary School, which they earned between 2008 and 2014. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) in Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in March 2021, TOPIK I Level 2 from National Institute for International Education (NIIED) in August 2021, and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate from Hong Kong Human Resources Ltd in May 2017.
