Derek Whitehurst

Derek Whitehurst has extensive experience at Corning Incorporated since August 1998, serving in various leadership roles including Program Manager for Commercialization and Branding and multiple director positions focusing on marketing for Enterprise Networks and Optical Outside Plant Cable. Derek has successfully led global marketing strategies, managed teams for marketing execution, and driven new product development and strategic planning. Prior experience includes a role as Field Engineering Supervisor at Siecor from 1993 to 1998. Derek holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Virginia Tech.
