John McGirr

John McGirr has extensive experience in leadership roles within Corning Incorporated, serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Corning Optical Fiber & Cable from January 2016 to June 2022, and as Vice President of Manufacturing in both Manufacturing and Optical Connectivity Solutions. In these positions, John was responsible for global manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement included the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps and successful completion of the Naval Reactors exam.
