Michael Hood

Michael Hood is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as Senior Division Counsel at Corning Incorporated since July 2013, Michael has held various titles including Senior Counsel and Senior Intellectual Property Attorney. Prior to joining Corning, Michael practiced as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione from January 2011 to July 2013. Michael began a career in the engineering field at Tate & Lyle, working as a Production Engineer and a Process Engineering Co-op between 2000 and 2007. Michael earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from William & Mary from 2007 to 2010 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University from 1999 to 2004.
