Petzold, Odessa is currently the Director of Premium Fiber Product Line Management at Corning Incorporated, where they have led various roles in product and process development since 2005. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Research Scientist and held several directorial positions within the company, focusing on advanced optics and precision glass solutions. Odessa has also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship and has been involved as a Visiting Research Scientist at Cornell University in 2001. In addition, they are pursuing a PhD in Polymer Chemistry at Clark Atlanta University and hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from The University of the West Indies.
