Tyler Johnston

Tyler Johnston, MBA, CPIM, serves as the Director of Procurement for the Environmental Technologies Division at Corning Incorporated since January 2011, overseeing global sourcing for Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Parts and Services, Professional Services, and Waste Management categories. Responsibilities include leading a global supply chain team to enhance performance, reduce costs, and mitigate risk. Prior to this role, Tyler held various positions at Corning, including Lean Champion and Senior Industrial Engineer, focusing on process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Previously, Tyler worked at Ingersoll Rand, where roles included Sourcing Manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, driving strategic sourcing and continuous improvement efforts. Tyler holds an MBA in Business/Supply Chain and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University.
